How does the doctor keep up to date on all of the current techniques and materials?
Dr. Dovgan and all the members of our team are real believers in continuing education, and we practice what we preach. We attend at least one continuing education session each month to keep up on the latest in dental technology and techniques.
Do you accept referrals?
Absolutely—we welcome them. Referrals are our preferred method of finding new patients for our practice.
Do you accept my insurance plan?
We are a preferred provider only for Delta Dental, but we will be glad to work with you to make sure you get any benefits you’re entitled to under your dental insurance plan. We’ll file all necessary paperwork for you.
What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?
If it’s a life-threatening emergency, call 911!
If it’s a dental emergency, call our office. You’ll get instructions on how to reach us or the doctor on call. There will always be someone available for you to rely on when you need assistance in a dental emergency.
I have a temporary crown in my mouth. What happens if it comes off or breaks?
We’ll want to make you a new crown as soon as possible. Call our office as soon as you can. If you’re in pain, we’ll try to get you in immediately.
My child has had an accident and his/her tooth has been entirely knocked out. What do I do?
First, rinse the tooth lightly—don’t scrub it. If you can put it back into place in your child’s mouth, do it. If not, put the tooth in milk or water.
Call our office and be prepared to come in right away. And don’t forget to bring the tooth!
What different payment options do you provide?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, CareCredit, ChaseHealthAdvance, and Capitol One Health Care Finance. If we could take your Texaco or Chevron card, we’d do that, too!
We are pleased to offer CareCredit to our patients. CareCredit is the leader in patient/client financing, and has helped more than 1 million patients/clients get the treatment or procedures they needed and wanted. With a comprehensive range of plan options, for treatment or procedure fees from $1 to over $25,000, we offer a plan and a low monthly payment to fit comfortably into almost every budget.
How can I safely whiten my teeth?
We offer both take-home bleaching systems and one-hour, in-office bleaching. We’ll be glad to talk to you about which system is best for you.
What makes you different than any other dental practice I can visit?
Where do we start? There are so many things that set us apart!
You’ll feel the difference from the moment you walk into our office—the warm, soothing atmosphere, the scented candles and fresh-baked cookies. Combine that with the very best and the very latest in dental technology and treatments, and you have a combination that’s hard to beat—and unlike any other dental office you’ve ever visited.
One more thing—we like to laugh and have fun while we work. We want you to relax and have fun, too. We truly want your visit to our office to be the highlight of your day—maybe even your week!
