CEREC, or chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics, is a unit that allows Dr. Dovgan to plan, prepare, and place your dental crowns during a single appointment. Rather than using an outside lab, which can take weeks to manufacture your crown, we can create highly aesthetic, functional restorations at our Phoenix, AZ, office. For added convenience, we also offer flexible financing plans and can work with your insurance to help you get this restorative treatment conveniently and as cost-effectively as possible.

In addition to providing custom made, high quality restorations, our patients can enjoy same-day crowns and bridges with CEREC. Using state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Dovgan can produce a crown chair side in one, convenient appointment. CEREC is a milling machine that cuts crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and veneers from high-quality blocks of ceramic. These restorations and cosmetic enhancements will beautifully blend in with a patient’s smile. CAD/CAM technology, which is used to determine the specifications of a restoration and subsequently fabricate it (similar to a 3D printer), is what makes this service possible.

CEREC is a computer-aided design and manufacturing unit that can scan, plan, and create dental crowns in a single appointment. By taking digital impressions of your smile and uploading them directly to the unit, Dr. Dovgan is able to digitally plan a custom crown that will keep your bite aligned and blend in seamlessly with your smile. The system is completely customizable, and Dr. Dovgan can work with you to modify your proposed treatment plan to suit your unique needs and expectations. The CEREC milling unit will then create your crown from a single block of high-quality porcelain.

Same-day crowns are a good option for any patient who needs a dental crown almost immediately. Crowns are a great restorative option because they can address both cosmetic and functional concerns such as:
